We are a relentless and focused race whose goal is to improve the quality of life throughout the galaxy. Rho Iota Phi is the only student organization at the Borg Institute of Technology. We assimilate other organizations on campus so that they may achieve perfection.

Our greek letters (when translated) represent the first letter of each word in our motto, Resistance Is Futile. Granted, Phi is near the end of the Greek Alphabet, but hey...we had to find something that sounded like an "F".

Freedom is irrelevant. Self-determination is irrelevant. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

As a fund-raising event, we occasionally hold a "Pot Luck Assimilation Drive". Basically, members of The BIT Alumni Association will donate cybernetic implants for needy Borg in the Delta quadrant. Such donations are essential for maintaining a strong presence here at home.
